Electric Sky seals deals in Asia

Following the establishment of a Hong Kong office, Electric Sky has now signed deals for assorted titles in Japan, Hong Kong, India and China.

Japan’s terrestrial broadcaster NHK has picked up cookery series Glamour Puds series two (pictured), from The Last Word productions for Channel 4, as well as  Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, produced by The Royal Opera House.

Also in Japan, Tokyo Vision picked up Britain’s Youngest Undertaker by Oblong Films for BBC3, and Nippon TV acquired World’s Fattest Man, produced by Electric Sky Productions for TLC.

Titanic docu-drama Waking the Titanic by GMarsh TV Productions sold to TFC in Japan and Phoenix TV in Hong Kong.

Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific has also picked up a number of programs from the distributor, including documentary special Game Changer: London 2012 from ITN Productions, cookery show My Cypriot Kitchen from Isis Media, and documentary series Beautiful Minds from ColourFIELD.
