Susanne Müller (pictured) is to head up the feature film department at German pubcaster ZDF.
For the past five years she has been the head of coproductions and program development at ZDF’s commercial arm, ZDF Enterprises, and also ran the company’s New York office.
“Susanne Müller led and developed the department with great commitment and know-how, thus contributing substantially to our success in the genres ZDFE.drama, ZDFE.junior and ZDFE.factual,” said Alexander Coridass, ZDF Enterprises president and CEO, in a statement.
“I am grateful to have learned so many things about the international business sector in my time at ZDF Enterprises, and to have met so many of the people involved in this field,” Müller added. “The experiences I made and the networks I became familiar with will clearly benefit my future activity.”
ZDF’s recent documentary productions include Wim Wenders’ Oscar-nominated film Pina.
