The uneXplained (pictured), a series from executive producer Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity, Mr and Mrs Smith), premieres on the BIO Channel on August 4, aiming to explore mysterious circumstances via alternative spiritual methods.

In each episode, the series will document first hand accounts of people dealing with undiagnosed disease, physical limitation, loss of memory, paranormal activity, or an unsolved crime. The episode follows them as they turn to a mystical expert in hopes of finding an explanation or remedy.

The premiere episode, “Disappearance at Dead Man’s Curve,” follows the story of a man missing for a year, whose family meets with a psychic detective to try and help solve the cold case.

The uneXplained is produced for BIO by Air Extreme, with Liman and Russ Stratton serving as executive producers. Executive producers for BIO are David McKillop, Elaine Frontain Bryant and Lily Neumeyer.
