Nat Geo Channels ups two

National Geographic Channels (NGC) has promoted Michael Mavretic (pictured) to senior director of global development, and Emily Cooper to director, ad sales marketing and product integration.

Mavretic, with NGC since 2002, is tasked with sourcing, creating and developing programming ideas, both series and specials, in the global non-fiction television market.

Cooper, with NGC since 2006, oversees advertiser relationships and looks for optimum integration and placement opportunities.

Mavretic reports to Kevin Mohs, VP of production and development, while Cooper reports to Josh King, VP of ad sales marketing.
