Global Screen has picked up worldwide distribution rights, excluding Canada, for the Simon Ennis documentary Lunarcy! (pictured), ahead of its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Munich-based Global Screen, a sales and distribution joint venture between Telepool and Bavaria Media, will handle sales of the feature-length doc, which is produced by Citizen Jones. Ennis’ documentary follows a disparate group of dreamers and schemers who have devoted their lives to the Moon.

“We are very excited to take over worldwide distribution rights for Lunarcy!” said Sonia Mehandjiyska, head of theatrical sales for Global Screen, in a statement.

Lunarcy! was produced by Jonas Bell Pasht. Check out realscreen‘s interview with director Ennis, along with three clips from the film, here.
