Discovery Networks Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEEMEA) has inked a deal to broadcast five Discovery Communications channels on Turkey’s IPTV service TTNet Tivibu.

Beginning this month, TTNet Tivibu subscribers will have access to Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, ID: Investigation Discovery, Discovery Science and Discovery World in standard definition.

Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and Discovery Science are currently available on cable and satellite providers Dsmart, Digiturk and Teledunya in Turkey.

This is the latest move of Discovery Networks CEEMEA to strengthen its focus on the Turkish market, following the news in September that Discovery would be opening its first office in Istanbul, with a dedicated team to support its Turkish business.
