Multimedia prodco Electus’s food-centric YouTube channel, Hungry, has paired up with Saveur magazine for a web series called Dueling Dishes.

Now available on Hungry, the competition show pits two acclaimed chefs against each other in a battle to see who can create the best version of the world’s favorite dishes, including macaroni and cheese, fried chicken and potato latkes.

The dishes will be judged by Dueling Dishes host and Saveur senior editor Gabriella Gershenson, Saveur executive food editor Todd Coleman, chef Todd English, and Michael Laiskonis, creative director of the Institute of Culinary Education.

The six-episode series was created and produced by Hungry CEO Bruce Seidel and is executive produced by James Oseland and Sean Holzman of Saveur.

“While Saveur sticks to the roots of culinary tradition, their forward thinking and engaged readership is the perfect recipe to entertain food enthusiasts in the current digital landscape,” said Seidel in a statement.
