Fox International Channels (FIC) Italy has greenlit the weight-loss challenge series Help Us, We’re Getting Fat!

The Magnolia-produced series, a spin-off of reality series Honey, We’re Killing the Kids!, follows author and ‘food scientist’ Marco Bianchi as he attempts to improve the eating habits of overweight parents that have been told to shape up by a concerned child. The contestants are then put through a 50-day regimen by personal trainer Giampaolo Quarta and dietician Serena Nardo.

It will premiere on female-skewing entertainment channel Fox Life on February 8.

Last week, FIC commissioned Endemol Italia to produce a local version of Gordon Ramsay’s culinary format Kitchen Nightmares that will begin airing on Fox Life in Italy in April.
