TBS greenlights Howie Mandel, Mark Burnett series

U.S. network TBS has ordered the tentatively titled series Deal With It, from Howie Mandel's Alevy Productions, and Trust Me, I'm a Game Show Host, exec produced by Mark Burnett.

U.S. network TBS has ordered the tentatively titled series Deal With It, from Howie Mandel’s Alevy Productions, and Trust Me, I’m a Game Show Host, exec produced by Mark Burnett.

Both series are set to premiere later this year, with TBS ordering six episodes of hidden camera show Deal With It and 10 episodes of comedic game show Trust Me, I’m a Game Show Host.

In Deal With It, the ambush show based on a format created by Keshet Broadcasting and United Studios, unsuspecting people are dared to pull a prank on their companion. Listening to instructions given via an earpiece from a secret control room nearby, the participant will pull off ridiculous stunts in order to win cash and prizes.

It will be produced by Howie Mandel’s Alevy Productions, Roy Bank’s Banca Studio and Keshet Broadcasting, in association with Lionsgate Television. Howie Mandel, Mike Marks and Roy Bank serve as executive producers.

Trust Me, I’m A Game Show Host features two hosts giving one contestant a different answer to the same question, where one is correct and the contestant must choose the right one to move on in the game.

The game show is produced by Burnett’s joint venture with Hearst Corporation, One Three Media, and the London-based Monkey. Burnett and Monkey founders Will MacDonald and David Granger serve as executive producers.
