UK indie Mentorn Media has hired RDF Television head of factual Tayte Simpson (pictured) to head up factual development. He will replace head of factual Hannah Wyatt, who steps into the role of director of programs.

As director of factual, Simpson will help the company expand its programming output. He spent the past decade at the Zodiak Media-owned prodco overseeing series such as Secret Millionaire; Sun, Sex and Suspicious Parents and Wife Swap, as well as docs such as I Hate My Body: Skinny Boys and Muscle Men; Freaky Sleepers and Cutting Edge: Obsessive Compulsive Disorders.

During her time at Mentorn, Wyatt’s credits have included Junior Doctors; The Hairy Bikers Mississippi Adventure; Tulisa: My Mum and Me and Dying For Clear Skin.

Additionally, the company has promoted executive producer and head of development Emma Morgan and producer Naomi Carter to director of development and director of production, respectively.
