Singing competitions tend to focus on the performers. But with this Irish music competition format, the spotlight is trained on the talent behind the singer – the person or teams that write the songs. Songwriters chosen by a top music producer compete to pitch their songs to top performers, who will then work with the writers to craft the songs as singles. Which one will prove to be music to the ears of the live audience and those at home?
