British producer/distributor Sky Vision has sold two natural history programs starring Sir David Attenborough (pictured) to networks around the world.
The company secured pre-sales deals for Galapagos (four x 60-minutes), a series about the Galapagos Islands, with BBC Global Channels, Mediacorp, NRK, TVE Spain, SIC Portugal, Viasat in Eastern Europe and the Nordics, UR Sweden, TV Cultura Brazil, and TVB in Hong Kong.
Written and presented by Attenborough, it was the first project to be produced by Colossus Productions, the joint venture prodco formed by Sky and Atlantic earlier this summer.
Sky Vision also sold Kingdom of Plants (six x 60-minutes) to BBC Global Channels, Mediacorp, France 5, RTL Living Germany, Red Bull Media’s Servus TV (for German-speaking Europe), IBA Israel, TVE Spain, VRT Belgium, TVP Poland, Viasat Eastern Europe and Nordics and TV2 Norway.
