A&E sets December air-date for “Rodeo Girls”

U.S. channel A&E is to begin airing Rodeo Girls on December 15 at 10 p.m. EST

Produced by The Weinsten Company and Left/Right, the six-episode reality series follows five professional barrel races as they compete in rodeos across the United States.

The cast includes model-turned-rodeo rider Darcy “No Fear” LaPier (pictured above); seasoned rider Marvel Murphy; Barb West, a former champ who returns to the pro circuit after a two-year hiatus; rookie Megan Etcheberry; youth barrel racing champ Jessica Holmberg; Marvel’s cowboy cousin Ty Murphy; and pro stunt roper Anthony Lucia.

The executive producers are Bob Weinstein, Harvey Weinstein, Meryl Poster, Patrick Reardon, Barbara Schneeweiss, Banks Tarver, Ken Druckerman, Nina L. Diaz, Sara Mast, Lily Neumeyer, Devon Graham, LaPier and Roe Baker.
