A&E to launch “Storage Wars” spin-off

U.S. cable network A&E is launching Barry'd Treasure, a limited series following Storage Wars star Barry Weiss (pictured) as he crosses the country to find rare collectibles.

U.S. cable network A&E is launching¬†Barry’d Treasure, a limited series following¬†Storage Wars star Barry Weiss (pictured) as he crosses the country to find rare collectibles.

The series, from Original Productions, will premiere on March 18 with back-to-back episodes at 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. EST/PST.

Barry’d Treasure¬†follows Weiss in an assortment of vehicles, as he and his crew of sidekicks haggle with the toughest and oddest collectors in the U.S.

The series will also see Weiss veer from his route to co-pilot a buggy in Amish country and take a camel ride in Appalachia.

The executive producers for Original Productions are Thom Beers, Philip D. Segal and Jeff Conroy, while Jeff Bumgarner is co-executive producer. A&E’s exec producers are Drew Tappon, Fred Grinstein and Brad Holcman.
