U.S. cable network Ovation will air the behind-the-scenes documentary about actor Kevin Spacey and director Sam Mendes’ production of Shakespeare’s Richard III in November.

NOW: In the Wings on a World Stage (pictured), which world premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year, was directed by Jeremy Whelehan and follows Spacey as he reunites with American Beauty director Sam Mendes to tour the theatrical production across the UK, Europe, the United States and Asia with the newly formed Bridge Project Company.

Following its Tribeca premiere, the doc received a limited theatrical release in the United States in May. Ovation will air it on November 9 at 8 p.m. EST.

“This film does more than showcase Spacey’s extraordinary talents,” said Scott Woodward, the network’s SVP of programming and production, in a statement. “It provides real insight into the art of stage acting and the creative, emotional and physical challenges of performing demanding roles night after night, in city after city.”
