UK broadcaster Channel 4 has ordered tentatively titled series The Deal Makers from Cardiff-based Posh Pawn creators Boomerang.

The 20 x 60-minute daytime reality series will follow a number of high-end character pawnbrokers across the UK, and will feature both customers and the items they are trying to sell.

“Following on from the massive success of Posh Pawn in peak time, The Deal Makers will introduce a whole new audience to the weird and wonderful world of pawn brokers,” said Channel 4 commissioner David Sayer.

Jon Lloyd is the executive producer of The Deal Makers for Boomerang. In related news, Posh Pawn (pictured) will also deliver a Christmas special episode, details of which are yet to be announced.
