Monami’s Gayle upped to overall EP on “Love & Hip Hop”

New York-based Monami Entertainment has tapped Stephanie Gayle (pictured) to lead the Love & Hip Hop franchise as its overall executive producer.

New York-based Monami Entertainment has tapped Stephanie Gayle (pictured) to lead the Love & Hip Hop franchise as its overall executive producer.

Gayle has worked on each season of every show in the Love & Hip Hop franchise, including serving as co-executive producer and showrunner for Love & Hip Hop: New YorkLove & Hip Hop Atlanta and K. Michelle: My Life.

The producer began her career in the A&R department of Geffen Records, followed by stints as VP of marketing at Columbia Records and head of marketing at Sanctuary Urban Records.

Gayle will report to Monami Entertainment founder and CEO Mona Scott-Young.

“Stephanie has been instrumental in the success of our Love & Hip Hop franchise since its inception,” said Scott-Young in a statement. “To put her in the role of overall executive producer for the franchise will enable us to take full advantage of the successful programming we’ve created for VH1, to ensure the continued success of each Love & Hip Hop series and subsequent spin-offs and to prepare for even greater franchise expansion.”
