Jocelyn Hamilton joins eOne TV Canada as president

Most recently VP of original programming and production for Corus Kids, Hamilton will take on day-to-day management and strategic planning for eOne's Canadian TV division in September.

Jocelyn Hamilton, most recently VP of original programming and production for Canadian broadcast company Corus’s kids and family division, has been appointed president of eOne Television in Canada, effective September 8, 2015.

Hamilton will lead day-to-day management and strategic planning for the company’s development and production activities in Canada, and is tasked with further building and broadening relationships with creative talent and Canadian broadcasters.

During her tenure at Corus Entertainment, Hamilton held a variety of posts including overseeing comedy and drama original programming for Corus’s roster of specialty nets, as well as Movie Central and HBO Canada. Unscripted series she commissioned include YTV’s The Next Star and Survive This!

“This is a very important time for the Canadian creative brand and for our industry to showcase Canadian talent on a global basis,” said eOne Television CEO John Morayniss in a statement. “With Jocelyn on board, we are looking forward to securing more value-driven creative partnerships that will offer new opportunities to content creators in Canada.”
