CNN sets November airdate for “Hunting Ground”

Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering's investigation into sexual assault on college campuses will have its U.S. broadcast premiere on CNN on November 19.

CNN will air Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering’s documentary The Hunting Ground later this month.

The film, which looks at sexual assault on American college campuses, will premiere on November 19 at 9 p.m. EST and will air with limited commercial interruption.

A roundtable discussion called Sexual Assault on Campus and hosted by CNN anchor Alisyn Camerota will follow the broadcast.

The Hunting Ground bowed at the Sundance Film Festival and distributor Radius-TWC opened it theatrically across the U.S. in February, in tandem with a series of screenings on nearly 1,000 post-secondary campuses.

CNN Films acquired the U.S. TV rights to the film a year ago. Dick and Ziering previously teamed up on The Invisible War, a 2012 documentary investigation into rape in the U.S. military.

Following the CNN premiere, The Hunting Ground will be available to stream via CNNgo and other VOD platforms for seven days. It will repeat on the network on November 22 at 9 p.m. EST.
