Channel 4 video-on-demand service All 4 has commissioned FremantleMedia-owned production house Naked Entertainment to produce a new dating format entitled Threesome Dating (pictured).

The 6 x 4-minute series will look to explore the burgeoning trend of three-way dating by featuring myriad couple types – including best friends, a married couple and polyamorous partners – trying to find a suitable “third wheel.”

Naked Entertainment’s Tim Hancock serves as executive producer on the series, which is scheduled to premiere next month. Jody Smith commissioned the program for All 4 Shorts.

The format marks Naked Entertainment’s second digital project for the Channel 4 VOD service following Britain’s Best Boy Racer (6 x 4 minutes), which follows two judges as they venture under the hood of some of Britain’s most extreme vehicles to determine who owns the country’s definitive modified cars.

Other non-fiction series in Naked’s portfolio include 5Star “extreme make-under” series 100% Hotter (10 x 60 minutes) and Channel 5′s family survival program Stripped and Stranded (4 x 60 minutes), which is currently being filmed in Panama.
