Los Angeles-headquartered health and entertainment net Z Living has bolstered its slate with the commission of inspirational lifestyle series Popsugar Presents: Conquered.

Produced by Popsugar Studios, the 6 x 30-minute series will examine the uplifting stories of everyday people who have “broken boundaries and conquered obstacles to achieve their goals.”

The series will exploit TrendRank, a proprietary technology created by Popsugar, to find and predict online trends, which are then used to help source stories to be featured on the program. Episodes will explore such themes as fitness, relationships, careers and health.

Tim Krubsack (pictured) serves as exec producer for Z Living, alongside Nicole Haimes and Ted Haimes.

The series, expected to premiere in January, is the third project to surface as part of Z Living’s strategic partnership with millennial media firm Popsugar to develop Popsugar-branded content exclusively for the network’s linear and digital portals.

Popsugar Presents: Conquered follows the already launched series Class FitSugar and the forthcoming Finding Fido from 3 Ball Entertainment, with further projects currently in development.

Conquered is a moving, optimistic series that chronicles and celebrates people facing real obstacles in the real world,” said Krubsack, executive VP and head of programming, in a statement. “It’s a different and important take on wellness and healthy living and, as such, is exactly the kind of original programming Z Living is proud to champion.”
