Chi-Raq actor and New York Times bestselling author and producer La La Anthony has secured an exclusive production partnership with ITV America.

Under the deal, the pair will create a number of unscripted and scripted projects to be produced by Anthony’s prodco LaLaLand under the ITV America banner.

Anthony (pictured) last year inked a development agreement with Grammy-winning producer Timbaland and ITV America-owned prodco Leftfield Pictures to develop an original docuseries set to offer an inside look into Face Time Agency, a New York-based hip-hop fashion model casting group, as well as myriad documentaries, true crime, live event and scripted series.

The deal was brokered by Edward Simpson, EVP of business development and international at ITV America.

Anthony’s television and film credits include Starz’s Power, BET’s The New Edition Story and A&E’s Unforgettable, as well as Think Like a ManThink Like a Man TooBaggage Claim, Double Play and Spike Lee‘s 2015 film Chi-Raq.

Anthony is also a twice-published author, with The Love Playbook and The Power Playbook, the former of which reached the New York Times Best Seller list in 2014.

Anthony is repped by UTA and Untitled.
