Best known as a critic and judge on The Great British Bake Off — also produced by Love Productions — Hollywood has always had baking in his blood.

In this new series (5×60), Hollywood travels down memory lane to visit the kitchens that inspired him and the chefs who taught him.

From his Merseyside roots to the Bake Off tent he will be whipping up new treats and reminiscing over the recipes that represent pivotal moments in his life.

Hollywood has a busy year ahead of him — his new series, Car Nation,  is set to launch on BBC this spring. and he is staying on as a judge for the upcoming season of The Great British Bake Off.

A Baker’s Life was commissioned by head of factual entertainment Kelly Webb-Lamb and commissioning editor Sarah Lazenby. It will be produced by Love Productions with executive producers Richard McKerrow and Kieran Smith.
