UK and New York-based prodco Lion Television, has upped Jennifer Silverman to vice-president of production.

In her expanded role, Silverman will continue to oversee production on a range of content.

In her previous role as executive producer, Silverman oversaw the creation and production of multiple series, specials and pilots in genres from true crime to nature.

Silverman joined the company in 2009 as series producer of the PBS series, History Detectives and led production for three seasons. She was also production lead for History Detectives: Special Investigations.

Additional executive producing credits include The 1980′s: The Deadliest Decade and Six Degrees of Murder for Discovery Investigation Discovery; How Dogs Got Their Shape and Puppies vs. The World for Nat Geo Wild; Follow Your Past for the Travel Channel; and Blood Feuds for American Heroes Channel.

Prior to joining Lion, Silverman was a freelance writer and producer working on series and specials for NBC, The History Channel, TLC, Discovery ID and more.
