Discovery Channel has commissioned a third spin-off of its reality television franchise Gold Rush.

Produced by London’s Raw TV, Gold Rush: Dave Turin’s Lost Mine sees the return of fan-favorite Dave Turin, who left the world of mining two years earlier to try his hand at new ventures. After leaving Gold Rush, people from across the U.S. started reaching out to Turin, asking for his help in rebooting their family mines.

The series will follow Turin as he plans his return to gold mining, searching for a lost and abandoned mine to resurrect with the goal of striking it rich. Using his expertise, and the backing of financiers, Turin will explore the history of each mine and prospect the land to figure out which could see him strike gold. The search will end with Turin picking the one abandoned mine he can turn around.

Gold Rush: Dave Turin’s Lost Mine will mark the brand’s first multi-platform series.

Mike Griffiths and Sam Maynard serve as executive producers for Raw TV. For Discovery Channel, Matt Vafiadis and Christina Bavetta serve as executive producers with Jessica Mollo serving as associate producer.

Discovery Channel will premiere seven mid-form episodes on March 8 via the Discovery Go platform before the series marks its  broadcast premiere on April 5 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
