Greg Silverman’s indie entertainment company Stampede is partnering with producer Phil Gurin (pictured) and his label the Gurin Company on a non-exclusive agreement to develop new unscripted and alternative programming for global audiences.
Jay Judah will lead the partnership at Stampede, overseeing development and production of premium unscripted and alternative entertainment. He was previously VP of development for unscripted proco Forge Media.
No specific projects have yet been announced.
“We are very excited to be collaborating with Phil, who is such a powerhouse in unscripted content,” said Stampede president Chris Bosco in a statement. “Our aligned vision of creating premium programs is a natural next evolution in the growth of our content group.”
“I am excited to reunite with my friend Chris,” added Gurin. ”We are always looking towards collaborating with innovative and exciting companies around the world. The opportunity to work with Greg, Chris, Jay and their team to develop new content for all platforms both domestically and internationally perfectly aligns with our strategy, joining with the other brands we work with to conquer the world!”
