Remarkable Television, part of Endemol Shine UK, is set to produce the 6 x 45-minute game show The Wall, hosted by EastEnders star Danny Dyer.

The BBC1 series (pictured), premiering later this year, has the voice of TV legend Angela Rippon asking the questions.

In the game, pairs need the right answers, right bounces, and trust in one another to win the life-changing cash prize.

The format, originally created by SpringHill Entertainment and Andrew Glassman’s Glassman Media in collaboration with Universal Television Alternative Studio, first aired in the U.S. on NBC in 2016. The Wall has sold to 24 territories around the globe.

The Wall was commissioned by Charlotte Moore, director of BBC Content and Kate Phillips, controller, entertainment. The commissioning editor for the BBC is Rachel Ashdown, the executive producer for Remarkable is Richard Hague. The series producer is Stephen Lovelock.
