Maryland-based wildlife prodco Red Rock Films has partnered with Alien, Avatar and Gorillas in the Mist star Sigourney Weaver to develop a slate of high-end nature docs.

Weaver (pictured) will narrate and executive produce the docuseries Wild World (w/t), which will feature a range of wildlife narratives meant to engage the entire family.

Wild World is the only project announced so far as part of the partnership.

The Hollywood icon previously narrated the highly successful Planet Earth for Discovery Channel.

Red Rock has previously produced wildlife content for Discovery Channel, Nat Geo Wild, Animal Planet and The Smithsonian Channel. A broadcaster has not yet been announced for Wild World.

Weaver is represented by UTA, Arcieri & Associates and Jackoway Tyerman. Red Rock Films is represented by UTA.
