Mobile streamer Quibi is ramping up for its April launch, greenlighting the shows Sexology with Shan Boodram and The Nod with Brittany & Eric, among a raft of other non-scripted titles.

Sexology with Shan Boodram will see the certified sexologist, intimacy expert and coach help viewers navigate the realities of sex, dating and relationships.

Boodram (pictured) previously served as the host and executive producer of the Fullscreen series Your Perfect Date. She also hosted and produced two seasons of Facebook Watch’s live dating series Make Up or Break Up.

From Curly One Productions, the show will be part of Quibi’s ‘Daily Essentials’ lineup — a selection of curated minutes-long bites of news and entertainment. Each episode, available Monday through Friday, will be less than 10 minutes.

The Nod with Brittany & Eric, adapted from the Gimlet podcast The Nod, will serve as a daily black culture show hosted by Brittany Luse and Eric Eddings. It will also join Quibi’s ‘Daily Essentials’ slate.

In each daily episode, Luse and Eddings explore the headlines, pop culture trends and topics “that have everyone talking.”

The show is executive produced by Jonas Bell Pasht and Jonah Bekhor from Citizen Jones. Brittany Luse, Eric Eddings, Chris Giliberti and Justin McGoldrick serve as executive producers for Gimlet Pictures.

In other Quibi news, the short-form streamer has partnered with Hearst Originals — Hearst Magazines’ video production unit — to produce the fashion review talk series Fashion’s a Drag for its ‘Daily Essentials’ block.

The daily show will be hosted by American drag queen Willam. Joined by a panel of fellow drag queens and a fashion expert from Elle Magazine, Willam will discuss the “hottest celebrity fashion trends.”

Quibi also greenlit The Rachel Hollis Show, hosted by the motivational speaker and author of Girl, Wash Your Face and Girl, Stop Apologizing.

The daily talk show, airing Monday through Friday, is produced by 3% Chance Productions and Den of Thieves for ‘Daily Essentials.’

Rachel Hollis, Dave Hollis and Cameron Berkman serve as executive producers for The Hollis Company’s 3% Chance Productions. Jesse Ignjatovic, Evan Prager, Jordan Barrow and Jared Morell are executive producers for Den of Thieves.

Quibi launches April 6, 2020
