Global streaming giant Netflix has ordered its first serialized unscripted dating series from Kinetic Content, a Red Arrow Studios company.
Love Is Blind sees singles looking for love that goes beyond the superficial. Instead of conventional dating, they’ll look to partner up with the person they want to spend the rest of their lives with, but with a catch: they’ll have to find their match without ever seeing what they look like.
After talking to a stream of unseen strangers, the contestants will make their pick and then propose, laying eyes on their fiancé for the first time once they’re already engaged.
The 10-part series is hosted by celebrity husband and wife Nick and Vanessa Lachey.
The dating series will roll out globally over three weeks, premiering Feb. 13 on Netflix.
