Realscreen is partnering with filmmaker and executive producer Chuck Braverman and his Westdoc Online video series to bring his interviews with acclaimed documentarians and non-fiction content industry figures to its readership.

In the latest episode, Braverman talks with director Taghi Amirani and editor Walter Murch about the critically-acclaimed Coup 53, which takes a deep dive into the 1953 coup, plotted by British and American intelligence, against Iranian prime minister Mohammad Mosaddegh, codenamed Operation Ajax.

In the conversation, Iranian-born physicist and documentarian Amirani and multiple award-winning editor Murch detail the 10-year journey of making the film, challenges in finding funding and eventual distribution for the film in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, bringing actor Ralph Fiennes on board as narrator, and more.
