HiddenLight Productions, the prodco recently launched by Hillary Rodham Clinton, Chelsea Clinton and Sam Branson, has appointed former Channel 4 commissioner Siobhan Sinnerton as its creative director and SVP of unscripted.

At Channel 4, Sinnerton most recently held the post of commissioning editor, news and current affairs and immersive content. She first joined the UK pubcaster in 2010 in the news and current affairs commissioner post and in the role, worked on such award-winning projects as For Sama, The Hunt for Jihadi John; The Battle for Hong Kong; Myanmar’s Killing Fields; Children on the Frontline; and Escape from ISIS.

Her experience also covers popular factual formats, including Supershoppers, Life After Lock-up and 24 Hours In Police Custody. She has also worked extensively in digital, having established Channel 4′s “Unreported World” YouTube channel, now with over a million subscribers, and also developed digital shorts and commissioned the VR project Grenfell: Our Home.

Sinnerton will report to HiddenLight CEO Johnny Webb.

“Siobhan is perfectly aligned with our mission to celebrate the best of the human spirit,” Webb said in a statement. “She has built an outstanding network of talent on and off screen and has a reputation for nurturing lasting relationships. Siobhan’s love for premium storytelling, impact and innovation makes her a very exciting addition to our senior team.”
