One of the stars of the long-running Braxton Family Values reality series is getting ready to serve up a cooking series for viewers.
Evelyn Braxton is working on a cooking show inspired by cookbook with Lauren Grace Media. The series shares a name with the book, titled Cooking With Ms. E, and it will bring viewers into the kitchen with Braxton and a variety of guests. Braxton is also a life coach and opera singer.
Deadline first reported the news.
Braxton is developing the series with Dorothy Toran (pictured right) and Leslie Farrell (left) from Lauren Grace Media. The full-service production company was launched last year by Toran and Farrell, both veteran executive producers. Toran is an Emmy- and Palme d’Or-nominated executive producer, and her credits include The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Meanwhile, Farrell previously served as VP of production at NBCUniversal, and has worked on various TV projects for more than 20 years.
WE tv’s Braxton Family Values first aired in 2011 and just wrapped up its seventh season. The series follows the lives of the Braxton sisters and their family, featuring popular American R&B singer Toni Braxton.
Evelyn Braxton is represented by Toni Moore of The Moore Legal Firm. Lauren Grace Media is represented by Vital Artists Agency.
