Brad Wilson, U.S. general manager and executive vice president of global growth for HBO Max, is exiting the streamer, the latest executive departure following the Warner Bros. Discovery merger.
Wilson will leave the company following a transition period, WarnerMedia confirmed to Realscreen.
The news closely follows the announcement that Brett Weitz, general manager of TNT, TBS and TruTV, and Polly Cochrane, WarnerMedia’s EVP and country manager for the UK and Ireland, are leaving the newly merged media giant.
Wilson joined WarnerMedia in June 2020, where he led growth marketing for the HBO Max streaming service and also oversaw the data, insights and operations teams. He helped grow U.S. domestic subscribers to HBO and HBO Max, which increased from 38 million in Q3 of 2020 to 48.6 million as of Q2 of 2022.
