Screen Australia announces Innovative Distribution funding recipients

Screen Australia's new Innovative Distribution funding will allow BeamAfilm to create a new documentary portal, and through Titan View's low-budget feature film model, films will get a release at grassroots non-theatrical venues. BeamAfilm's Gil Scrine and Louise van Rooyen will receive a grant for their doc portal which will stream on VoD, with a focus on education and library markets. The grant allows a partnership between Antidote Films and Pan Pacific Interactive to distribute Australian film content in a secure on-demand environment. The recipients will receive funding for two years.
