Mercury Media and Re:Fine set up Prism

A new digital platform delivery service is being launched from London-based distributor Mercury Media International and digital content processing facility Re:Fine. Prism will be a one stop shop for documentary producers to deliver films to pay-per-view digital platforms, such as iTunes, Blinkbox, Amazon VOD and Joiningthedots.tv, and is set to launch in January 2011. Prism will charge a fixed fee, depending on the number of platforms, and Mercury will charge a small royalty against net proceeds.
