UK-based distributor Electric Sky has secured a number of deals with Living NZ and High Fidelity HDTV Canada. The New Zealand lifestyle channel has acquired over 60 hours of programming from Electric Sky including DNA - Discovering New Ancestors a 6x30-minute series by Yellow Duck Productions for BBC Wales which features celebrities such as Olivia Newton John, Susan Sarandon and Donny Osmond tracing their ancestry. The channel has also picked up the second series of Glamour Puds, a 10x23-minute series by The Last Word for Channel 4 which follows French Patissier Eric Lanlard as he uncovers the story of the first celebrity chef, Antonin Careme. High Fidelity HDTV Canada also signed up 75 hours of HD titles over three years. The channel also has a first look deal with Electric Sky through which it will be acquiring 3D programming from the distributor.
