Zodiak launches production center in Colombia

Bogota, Colombia is the location of a new production hub for Zodiak Entertainment and its Miami-based company RM 5to Elemento. The move is the next step for moving further into the Latin America TV market. Juan Maldonado will head the operation as managing director. Maldonado was previously MD f Endemol Andino for four years, producing and selling formats such as Big Brother and Deal or No Deal as well as previously holding senior positions at many of Colombia's top television channels including Grupo Planeta, RTI Television, Canal Caracol, Canal RCN, and Cinevision.
