The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences presented the International Digital Emmy Award winners at a ceremony in Cannes, hosted by actor Jason Priestley. The event was a history maker, with New Zealand winning its first International Emmy for its interactive web series Reservoir Hill, in the category of Digital Program: Children & Young People. For Digital Program: Non-Fiction award, the BBC/The Open University took the prize for Virtual Revolution, an open source collaborative documentary.
