Picture Box gets double sale for ‘Grocery Bag’ in Italy

Picture Box Distribution has sold format rights and lifestyle series Anna and Kristina's Grocery Bag to Italy's Beep Omnimedia. The Worldwide Bag Media production, which airs on Canada's W Network, shows consumer hosts Anna Wallner and Kristina Matisic cooking along to the advice of popular cookbooks. Omnimedia has picked up 39 x 30-minute episodes of the original version as well as the format rights. Picture Box has also sold the series to French Canada's Zeste!, Finland's MTV OY, Hungary's TV PAPRIKA/CHELLO, Israel's ANANEY, Poland's Canal Plus and LiTV in Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia.
