Discovery announces HD titles premiering at MIPTV

MIPTV will see the debut of new HD titles from Discovery Enterprises International in genres ranging from factual entertainment to health and world affairs from its portfolio of networks. Titles include Worst Case Scenario, the 8 x 30-minute series based on the bestselling series of books and hosted by Bear Grylls, produced for Discovery Channel by Pilgrim Films & Television; The Kamen Code, an 8 x 30-minute series following Segway inventor Dean Kamen as he tries to better the world with cutting-edge inventions, produced for Planet Green by @radicalmedia; and Last Days of the Dinosaurs, a one-off 120-minute doc that traces the story of the prehistoric beasts from asteroid impact and its aftermath to the survival of those who escaped the blast. The doc uses the newest archeological research and 3D photo-real animation technology to depict dinosaur's last days on earth. Last Days of the Dinosaur is produced for Discovery Channel by Dangerous Films, Ltd.
