Subject of ’65_RedRoses’ loses her cystic fibrosis battle

Eva Markvoort, the subject of the critically-acclaimed documentary 65_RedRoses, has passed away. Markvoort was a 25-year-old university student who blogged about her battle with cystic fibrosis under the moniker 65_RedRoses. The blog gained an international following and according to filmmakers Nimisha Mukerji and Philip Lyall, inspired many people to become organ donors.
