Production company KPI has promoted Jim Gaffey to the title of executive producer. Gaffey started as a writer/producer at KPI and then moved on to series produce for History titles MonsterQuest, MysteryQuest and Clash of the Gods. Gaffey's new role includes supervising KPI's history and science genre productions, including The World Without, a new series premiering on the Science Channel in late 2010, and National Geographic's Naked Science series, airing later this year.
