Doc filmed by chimps enters Wildscreen film competition

The wildlife filmmaking world is getting a little bit more crowded now that chimps are getting into the game. The short film Chimpcam: The Movie is being entered into the 2010 Wildscreen Festival Panda Awards, under the category 'Best Newcomer'. The film stemmed from Burning Gold Productions' Natural World: The Chimpcam Project, when the chimps got a taste for filming, given a camera and made their own short film. Chimpcam: The Movie list chimp producers Cindy, Emma, Kilimi, Lyndsey and Lucy and directors Ricky, Qafzeh, Kindia, Liberius, David and Louis. Human filmmakers still have time to get their entries in.
