Cineflix ups sales of ‘Conviction Kitchen’ and ‘My Monkey Baby’

Cineflix International has announced a list of deals for two of its newest programs: Conviction Kitchen (Cineflix) and My Monkey Baby (Glasshead Productions). Kitchen, which follows chef Marc Thuet and his business partner and wife Biana Zorich as they try to train ex-convicts to work in their high-end restaurant, has been picked up by TV4 in Sweden, TV2 in Norway, SBS in the Netherlands, M6 in France, Planet Green in the U.S., and the Turner Broadcasting System in Latin America. The format has been optioned in Australia, Norway and Spain for local versions of the show. My Monkey Baby, a one-off doc about American families who take in monkeys as their adopted children, has been sold to Vox in Germany, M6 in France, TVI in Portugal, Channel Four in Finland, TV Norge in Norway, Kanal 5 AB in Sweden, DBS Israel, TLC in the U.S, Astral Media in Canada and TV3 in New Zealand.
