Sundance Channel comes to Canada

Corus Entertainment has announced that Sundance Channel (Canada) will be available to Canadian audiences on March 1. The schedule is built around six defined programming blocks anchored weeknights in primetime and on Saturday and Sunday nights. Monday nights offer Sundance Stage, film adaptations of stage plays; the Tuesday night block is called Critics Choice, with Hollywood insider show In the House with Guber and Bart and titles including Tom Gilroy's Spring Forward, and Errol Morris' Gates of Heaven, and Brother's Keeper. Wednesday nights are dedicated to the Sundance Series strand featuring Sundance-produced original productions and premieres. Thursday nights are all about music with Sonic Screen and weekends begin on Friday nights with Theatreland, a documentary series on the London theater scene. The rest of the weekend features cult films and a block called Asia Extreme.
