BBC Four commissions multi-platform series ‘Art of Maps’

Tern Television has announced that BBC Four has commissioned The Art of Maps, a four-part multi-platform series exploring the stories behind maps. Each one-hour episode will focus on one map with great historical significance. The series is part of BBC Four's Maps Moment, which will air this spring alongside the British Library's new exhibition, Magnificent Maps: Power, Propaganda and Art. The online counterpart will give users the ability to explore five historic maps.
