Redmond takes the helm at RTR Media

Toronto-based prodco RTR Media, founded in 2004 by Debbie Travis, Hans Rosenstein and Kit Redmond, will now be headed solely by Redmond as Travis and Rosenstein step back. Redmond will now be the sole owner of the company, continuing to build the company's success in the realms of popular factual entertainment, while also diversifying into scripted programming and feature films. Rosenstein will continue to be involved with the company in an advisory capacity. The company already has a number of programs lined up for 2010 including season three of Income Property, a new 13-part financial series for Corus Entertainments' W Network. RTR also has a design series and a real estate series in development with HGTV Canada and a development deal with Discovery HD Canada.
