Cut from ‘The Simpsons’ documentary

A.V. Club writer Steven Hyden details the six months he spent involved in Morgan Spurlock's The Simpsons 20th Anniversary: In 3D! On Ice! that culminated in a .6 second shot of Hyden eating a giant pink donut with the documentary filmmaker. The writer, who was to serve as a Simpsons skeptic, shot segments in a fake Kwik-E-Mart, at Albuquerque Isotopes minor league baseball game and within The Onion's offices, all to be cut with the exception of a split second shot.
