Banijay finalizes acquisition of Zig Zag

Today Paris-based Banijay Entertainment announces it has finalized the acquisition of UK prodco Zig Zag Productions. The deal also includes the acquisition of Zig Zag subsidiary HooHah, a digital creative agency which specializes in short form and branded content. As the result of this deal Zig Zag's managers have decided to step up their expansion to take advantage of the network of international production companies also under Banijay's umbrella. The purchase of Zig Zag follows Banijay's recent deal acquiring Scandinavia's Nordisk Film TV.
